Well it’s here; the official trailer for
Max Payne is out. I have always said that George Eads should have been the lead actor in this move! Nothing against Mark Wahlberg but I can only see George as Max Payne - always have from the moment I started playing the video game, which the movie is based on, over four years ago. The good news is that the movie seems to have kept the look and feel of the game alive with the camera angles and imagery. Heck they even have some of the same lines from the game in the script so hopefully it will be good. ;-)
Oh and anther reason I will be watching this movie –
Stargate SG-1 fans will be happy to know that General Landry AKA Beau Bridges is in the movie too!! It just keeps on getting better and better for me.
Good thing to because I want to kill .mac/Apple. My email has been down all day so that they can get ready for the new
Mobile Me and iPhone tomorrow. Darn them!! I just hope it is up soon. I feel like I am missing out on the world with out my email. :-P

I have seem a part of the vid but then I got pulled away but I promise to watch it tonight, I am almost caught up at work so I should have the time soon. I am sorry I know it will be fav but I am just beside myself since I got back. I should be back to normal soon ;-P
Oh and BTW I was going to send you and Tina a small goodie from work today but I couldn't access your email from work since my email was down- I hope to have it mailed by tomorrow. It is just a very small thing for you guys until I can get my butt to the post office to get the real stuff shipped.
I hope you managed to get all caught up at work and that you're feeling better after the hectic re-entry into the job after being on vacation. I'm still patiently waiting for you to see the video I made - pretty much for you since it was your idea. :) I think it will be a nice little reward for you when your life is finally back to normal. I agree that the fact that the main character is Mark Wahlberg is a little weird... That's the first thing I noticed. But stilll, I'm going to give it a try. It looks very exciting and full of action, and it totally got me when I heard "If I was your vampire" by Marilyn Manson, because I love that song.

As for MW, as I said I have nothing against him and I am sure he will do a good job its just as soon as I heard they were going to make this movie I thought George Eads would be perfect for it, and now I can't let that image go. I get why they hired MW after all he is a "movie star" and GE is a "TV star" and all but I can't help but think he would have done a better job. Oh well the camera angles and action make me think it will be great. Lets hope ;-D
Yeah... he's a movie star. Let's hope he does a good job in the movie. *hugs*
However it is nice to know that I have one friend on LJ who will understand about the games, if and when I post about them - yay!!!!!
